It could read like the script from his own show, but Harry Hill has reportedly sparked a bidding war between telly giants, who are gunning to sign the big-collared funny man after his split with manager Jon Thoday.
He has decided to part ways with the big boss as Avalon, reportedly saying he is looking for a ‘fresh start’. It has also been alleged (though not confirmed) that he will soon be leaving behind TV Burp altogether after rejecting a million pound pay rise.
ITV would undoubtedly be sad to see ratings winner Harry go. As will Jon Thoday of course, who has had a tough week already what with the Daybreak departure of Christine Bleakley and Adrian Chiles, who he also represents.
