If the idea of watching Cowboys Versus Aliens makes you worry about seeing a fair fight, fear not, because Dominion: Dinosaurs Versus Aliens is being developed.
Barry Sonnenfield, director of the Men In Black series, is joining with Liquid Comics and producer Arnold Rifkin to bring this time and species clash to the big screen.
Comic Book writer Grant Morrison, who has written for Batman, Animal Man and Doom Patrol amongst others, has been enlisted to develop a graphic novel on the same theme and according to Deadline, it “will chronicle a secret prehistoric world war battle, When an alien invasion attacks Earth in the age of the dinosaurs, the planet’s only hope is the giants that roam the planet with, it turns out, a lot more intelligence than previously realised.
With a title like Dominion: Dinosaurs Verses Aliens, the film should do exactly as described and, hopefully, might mark a move into more informative titles from Hollywood. Imagine if Gigli had been called ‘Affleck/Lopez pukefest’, nobody would have bothered with it.
