The drama that is the X Factorâs judges and presenter selection seems to be slowly drawing to a close.
With the announcement on Friday that Cheryl Cole is to join Simon Cowell stateside, the whole of the US X Factor line-up was announced this weekend.
Joining Cheryl and Simon at the judges table will be Paula Abdul and record company executive and producer Antonia âLAâ Reid.
Simon Cowell admitted he thought fans would be “disappointed” if he did not get Paula Abdul as a judge after the duo were on the hugely successful American Idol together.
The presenters of the show have been announced as Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and Welsh TV presenter Steve Jones.
Meanwhile over here, the first judge on the UK X Factor has been announced as Gary Barlow. A source told The Sun: âGary knows the business inside and out. If anyone could replace Simon it’s him.â?
The remaining judges are still yet to be revealed, with Alesha Dixon widely believed to join the popular talent show.
