Michelle Yeoh, Max Beesley and Tim McInnerny are to join the cast of Sky1’s action packed drama, Strike Back.
In her first ever role for television, Yeoh, (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon) plays the wife of the British Ambassador to Thailand with McInnerny (Notting Hill) playing her husband. Beesley (Mad Dogs) takes on the role of an ex-pat gangster.
Returning to lead the cast once again are Sullivan Stapleton (300: Rise of An Empire), Philip Winchester (24: Live Another Day, Camelot) and Robson Green (Mount Pleasant, Grantchester), who reprise their on screen roles as counterterrorism operatives Sgt. Damien Scott and Sgt. Michael Stonebridge and Section 20 leader, Col. Philip Locke.
Also returning to the series is Michelle Lukes (Doctors, Alexander) as Sgt. Julia Richmond and Milauna Jackson as DEA Special Agent Kim Martinez (Squad 85.)

Max Beesley commented: “It is a pleasure to come and spend some time fighting it out with section 20 on Strike Back. The production values speak volumes and Sullivan and Phillip are guys I know and enjoy working with, along with the very talented Michelle Yeoh. The character Ray McQueen is an absolute gem to play. “
