Stuart ‘The Brand’ Baggs To Get His Own TV Show?

There’s only one reason why we at OTB look back at last autumn with misty-eyed fondness – and it has nothing to do with that Brazillian bloke from X Factor. Yes, those were the months that saw Stuart ‘The Brand’ Baggs brightening every Wednesday evening with his own line of bullshit on The Apprentice.

At the time we suspected that we hadn’t seen the last of Mr Baggs and this morning it has emerged that ‘The Brand’ is close to signing a deal to bring him back to our TV screens. The man who said things like: “Everything I touch turns to sold..” and “Sometimes I have to rein in my own masculinity” was branded “full of shit” by Lord Sugar after being fired in the final stages of last year’s show, but now he could be making a return.

Sacha Taylor-Cox, celebrity manager at Impressive PR, told STV that Baggs has what it takes to make it in showbiz (well we already know he’s a twat, so that’s nothing new..): “Love him or hate him, Stuart has a great profile for TV. Our strategy should see him on our screens for some time,” she explained.

The Brand himself recently told the press that he was ready to return to the public eye: “Life is Brand-tastic to be honest,” he said. “The Apprentice’ has changed my life. I was planning on going back to my business and putting ‘The Apprentice’ to bed. But then production companies started calling and asking whether I’d considered doing any more TV, so we’ll see whether anything takes my fancy.”

“I imagine it would be along the lines of going to the jungle or ‘Dancing On Ice’. I would actually love to do that, I’d put rockets on my skates and skate through fire. I actually want to go on that show. It’d be much better than eating bugs.”
