Lord Alan Sugar has been keeping us amused with a series of twitter spats over the last couple of months (see below..) and as the countdown to the next series of The Apprentice begins, news has reached our Tweetdecks that Suralan will be tweeting live during weekly episodes.
So if his previous interactions are anything to go by, we can look forward to some poorly punctuated but exceptional cutting messages..
The tycoon – who will return to our screens for a new series on Tuesday 10th May – confirmed his intentions as he spoke about the changes that have been made to the popular BBC business show for 2011. Rather than getting a job in Sugar’s organisation, this year’s winner will be receiving £250,000 to invest in the business of their choice.
After coming perilously close to signing an idiot like Stuart Baggs last year, Sugar has clearly decided that the cash incentive is a far safer option and could result in considerably less ball-ache.
Here are some of his best tweets to date:
@KirstyAlsopp “You are lying cow dont tweet lies about me by the way you were the worst celeb ever in celeb apprentice” [SIC]
@ChrisMoyles “Some people tweet me say u told them to unfollow me as I plug my book. Hope not true otherwise a case of POT/KETTLE”
@PiersMorgan “For American followers of Piers he is not liked here in the UK.”
@ChrisEvans “I am worried u might take my role in the Âapprentice. New format 16 people battle it out to find Britainâs biggest boozer.â?
