Forbes Magazine has compiled a list of the 10 most profitable TV shows in the US, with American Idol, Two and a Half Men and Desperate Housewives topping the chart.
No wonder Si-Co’s always got such a smug grin on his face – American Idol raked in $7.11 million per half-hour on the air in 2010. Lagging behind was Two And A Half Men at $2.89 million, explaining why, with such a cash cow on thier hands, producers are rumoured to want Charlie Sheen back.
Other names on the list included Desperate Housewives at $2.74 million, and Lost, which ended last year, at $2.6 million.
Don’t know about you, but OTB wouldn’t mind putting up with Sheen for $2.89 million per half hour…
