Take Me Out Contestant Convicting Of Punching Woman

It had been reported that Aaron Withers, a contestant who appeared on the guilty pleasure that is Take Me Out last Saturday, holds a previous conviction for assault; a fact unbeknown to ITV bosses until recently revealed by The Mirror.

Apparently, Withers pleaded guilty to the charge which occurred in Somerset last year. He was said to have attacked a man and his girlfriend after they mocked the evidently touchy subject of his height.

The revelations do not end there. The Mirror’s investigations also uncovered the fact that Aaron once advertised himself as an escort on the website Platinum Select, charging up to the sum of £1,500 for the pleasure of an entire weekend in his company.

A spokesperson for the programme commented: “He did not declare it to us when he applied to the series.” They also suggested that the production company are in the process of “reviewing proceduresâ€? with regards to Take Me Out’s background checks.
