We were all delighted to get our eyes on the latest trailer for The Dark Knight Rises earlier this week (above) and now we have a fresh piece of PR gubbins to enjoy.. (below)
It’s a mock-up of Gotham’s latest piece of legislation, The Harvey Dent Act, which aims to close the loop-holes that allows organised crime to flourish and brands Batman a vigilante (not for the first time..)
In the statement, Mayor Garcia sings the praises of Harvey Dent, before going on to reject criticism that the legislation makes Gotham a Police State.
“Before the Dent Act, our city was so desperate that we placed our trust behind a masked vigilante who ultimately murdered the man who was truly Gotham’s shining hope. Luckily for us, the hope has endured. This bill is Harvey Dent’s legacy and I intend to protect it.”
