One of the executive producers of Friends, the poor-man’s Seinfeld, has insisted that there is “no talk” about a reunion.
Speaking to TV Guide, Kevin S Bright revealed: “There is absolutely, 100 percent no talk about a reunion.
“Maybe they’ll find a reason one day, and obviously the reason can’t be about money and things like that. Other than that, I don’t think there is a reason to do it.”
Rumours of the popular sitcom’s return have been denied in the past by stars including Jennifer Aniston (Rachel) and Matt LeBlanc (Joey).
The producer/director also ruled out the possibility of a Friends movie, arguing that the show’s format does not suit the big screen.
“It was made to be an intimate show in your living room,” he explained. “It wasn’t a broader show like many of the comedies today that are shot single-camera.”
