The Rock Talks Fast 6 & 7

His highness The Rock said in an interview with MTV that Fast 6 & 7 will not shoot back to back as previously thought.

“I don’t think we’re going to shoot them back-to-back,” he said.

“We were going to try that because it wouldn’t make sense to have the same crew and have everybody there in one place, but I think we’re dealing with some weather issues, so from what I know we’re going to shoot Fast 6 first and then worry about Fast 7 a little later”.

Yeah, well given that one of the locations includes the UK, inclement weather is something that’s going to be par for the course. Sorry guys, this ain’t Rio.

“We’re going to be in the UK, we’re going to be in Germany, from what I know. That’s the early talks,” he said. “And we’re going to start shooting in May.”

Well, that’s good news for anyone that liked the gloriously ridiculous and brilliantly good fun Fast 5 last year as it looks like he’s going to be a permanent fixture and every movie can be improved by The Rock – everything from dental family comedy, island-based family adventure to ailing live-action adaptations of well-loved 80s cartoons (we hope).
