As hype around the BBC’s upcoming talent show builds to a deafening crescendo (followed by a key change) a picture of The Voice UK’s spanking new set has emerged.
Tom Jones, Jessie J, Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am and The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue have all been pictured in the red swivel chairs of doom for the first promo shot for the Saturday night series.
Unlike its ITV counterpart, the talent show will seek out fresh talent through blind auditions, with mentors unable to let contestant’s looks cloud their judgement.
The judges will then go head to head with their team of acts performing in live weekly showdowns.
Reports have already confirmed that will.i.am, Jones, O’Donoghue and Jessie J have filmed a group performance together which will air on the show’s opening episode.
With firm TV favourites Reggie Yates and yummy mummy Holly Willoughby set to host, the show is surely destined for Saturday night smashdom.
The Voice UK launches in March on Saturday nights on BBC One.
