And she intends to keep on dishing out plenty of “tough loveâ€?.

“I am quite hard core on them. I have been told that I’m the one who literally put them through boot campâ€?, she said speaking at a launch do for the show last month. “Crying is good, I think you should embrace crying. This isn’t a walk in the park now.â€?

Joining her on the panel will be Tom Jones, will.i.am and The Script frontman, Danny O’Donoghue.

Each of the four coaches have been busy selecting ten contestants ready for the live show rounds which will screen after four weeks of auditions.

Speaking at the launch of the show last month, the 23-year-old singer spoke of her group of Jessie J wannabes.

“So many people had come from small towns where they’d just sung to their mum and dad and their best friends that were always going to tell them how great they were.

“And then they’re standing in front of someone like me who’s about technique and vocals and breathing and all these things they’d never thought about….and they were a bit overwhelmed.

“But you know whatâ€?, she added, “the next day they’d come back and say “thank you for the tough loveâ€?â€?.

It took Ms J seven years of hard graft before finally securing the deal which would make her a star, and she is keen to find the same dedication from her troupe of fledgling stars.

“I still train every day and I want to find someone who wants it just as much”, she said.
