Despite his best efforts, Taylor Lautner is most famous for running around shirtless in the woods.
The Twilight star tried his best to separate himself as an actor with his recent role in Abduction but unfortunately it wasn’t exactly his acting renaissance. He won’t throw in the towel just yet, however, as he plans to join forces with director Gus Van Sant.
The upcoming project is still untitled, but what we do know is that it is based on a New Yorker article that caught Lautner’s eye. The film won’t have a big budget and will likely resemble the indie fare that Van Sant does best.
Lautner is set to produce, probably so he can have more control over his reinvention than he did in Abduction.
