A potential all-star series of Iâm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! (weren’t they all supposed to be like that?) seems to be under threat as the fractious group of past stars just canât get along.
ITV were hoping to get a group of the showâs past winners and big names to compete in a 10th anniversary edition of the series but poor relationships between the celebs is making things difficult. âTrying to convince some of the most outspoken celebrities to spend so much as a night together is proving difficult,â? an insider told The Mirror. âA lot of the showâs former stars absolutely hate each other, and as soon as their names are mentioned together all hell breaks loose. Itâs a real headache for the showâs producers.â?
One ex-winner who is, unsurprisingly, up for another stay in the jungle is Kerry Katona. âIâd definitely do it again,â? she said. I saw Ant and Dec the other week and thought, âshould I say something?ââ? But are there any conditions? What, say, if Katie Price were to be involved? âNo, I wouldnât do it then,â? she conceded, âIâll do it if Peter Andre does it and I love Joe Swash… I love Christopher Biggins too, so Iâd do the show with him.â?
On the positive side, with this kind of group dynamic, any anniversary series of Iâm a Celebrity…will have plenty of drama.
