Wicks Brothers To Make EastEnders Return

A pair of housewife heart-throbs are set to return to Albert Square just as Pat (and her earrings) make a dramatic exit.

Nick Berry (left) and Michael French (right), who played ballsy Eastend brothers Simon and David Wicks, appeared on screen in the late 80s and early 90s.

But the pair will be resurrected in time for the impending exit of Walford matriarch Pat Evans who, it is rumoured, will be killed off at Christmas.

Former prostitute and the queen of nosey neighbours, Pat, has been played by Pam St Clements since 1986 making her one of the longest running characters in the show’s history.

An EastEnders spokesperson told the Sun: “Producers are working flat-out to get Nick and Michael on board. Nick hasn’t done any major TV work for the best part of a decade. To get him back into Albert Square would be a major coup.”

The best part of a decade, you say? Watch this space for “Was bringing “Wicksyâ€? back the worst decision in Eastenders history since Mike Reid wore THAT bow tieâ€?.

Bianca (Patsy Palmer) and Ricky Butcher (Sid Owen) are also expected to be back on screen in time for Pat’s departure.
