X Factor Hopefuls Leave Because Of Porn, Criminal Record & ‘Mockery’

A porn star exposed, a criminal outed and a stormy exit from Goldie.

Not the unlikely plot of a corny US soap, but one rather eventful weekend for the X Factor contestants and long-suffering judges.

Lascel Wood was first on the media chopping board as his secret past as a self-made porn star hit the headlines. We’re not saying that’s why Gary rejected him from the judge’s house round but…this is a family show after all.

The talented young Sian Phillips was given the thumbs up by girls group judge, Kelly Rowland, but upcoming episodes will reveal how an unspent criminal conviction will prevent her from making the trip to Miami.

Sian said afterwards: “I was so happy to get through Boot Camp and then absolutely gutted when I couldn’t get a visa.â€?

The Scouse singer had served a two-month jail sentence for her involvement in a drunken brawl back in 2009, a fact which prevented her getting the necessary US documentation.

Philips has vowed to return next year, when the conviction would no longer prevent her from travelling to America.

She said: “I’m planning to re-enter next year because it wasn’t my singing which held me back. My life’s back on track now I have put my past behind me.”

And Goldie.

Responsible for the creation of stage fireworks never before seen on the talent show, Goldie Cheung, decided to pull out from the judges houses supposedly after her husband suggested that she might be made a mockery of.

Forty-eight year old Cheung blamed missing her family for her surprise departure from the show.

Here’s to another week of heartbreak and shattered dreams!
