There aren’t many cricketers who could lead one of the most unsuccessful England sides in recent memory to a whitewash in Australia and still find themselves utterly loved by the public, but then Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff is no ordinary cricketer. (Admittedly, he did play a massive part in beating the Aussies twice when they came to blighty.)
But forget Shane Warne & Co, because the Preston lad is off to explore some of the globes most remote habitats and cultures in his new series which debuts on Discovery tomorrow evening. Hopefully for Freddie’s sake, Mrs Flintoff won’t be watching..
