Avast ye land lubbers, for Sinbad is about to set sail for your screens (..Sky1 to be precise) this sunday and it looks like great fun. Based on an eigth-century warm-hearted ne’er-do-well who flees Basra when his street-fighting has tragic consequences, this richly-shot series which stars Elliot Knight as the lead (along with a host of other familiar faces). It reminds us of Merlin a bit – which is no bad thing. Isn’t that the lad out of EastEnders?
