The impressionist Rory Bremner has suspected that he may have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. In this Horizon documentary he sets out to learn more about the condition and if indeed he does have it. Mind you, some people think that ADHD doesn’t even exist, and that children who have it are just naughty or not being raised properly by their parents. However, it is believed by most experts that around 5% of children have ADHD, as do 3% of adults. Even worse, 30% of adult prisoners reportedly have ADHD. Bremner interviews parents of children who have ADHD, people now in jail whose lives have been blighted by it, and examines if ADHD has a relationship with his work as a comedian. He even tries to take his first drug medication just before going on stage to perform. Horizon: ADHD and Me with Rory Bremner is on BBC Two at 21.00.
