The artist looks into the landmark events of our life: birth, death, marriage, and coming-of-age. Perry begins by examining people\u2019s attitudes towards death, and in particular two different ways of looking at it. One, Roch, has been suffering for motor neurone disease for nearly a decade and feels that it his time to die. There is also the family of Jordan, a 17-year-old cyclist killed by a drunk driver. Perry attempts to create pieces suitable for both of them. Grayson Perry: Rites of Passage is on Channel 4 at 22.00.
