Joe Lycett and judges Patrick Grant and Esme Young are in charge as the series reaches its conclusion tonight. For the grand finale the three remaining sewers are tackling challenges concerning eveningwear. The pattern challenge is their most complex yet, a double-breasted waistcoat, which involves having to stitch it inside-out, meaning they are sewing blind. The transformation challenge sees them turn net curtains into eveningwear, while the final made-to-measure task involves having to make strapless gowns for their own friends and family. The Great British Sewing Bee is on BBC Two at 21.00.
