If you prefer something less serious, Channel 4 have their Alternative Election Night presented by Jeremy Paxman, David Mitchell and Richard Osman, featuring among other highlights special episodes of Gogglebox and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. On the other hand, on BBC Two you can indulge yourself with a new series of Mock the Week and the return of the controversial Frankie Boyle with his New World Order. Channel 4 and Sky News’s election coverage begins at 21.00. BBC One and ITV’s coverage starts at 21.55. Mock the Week is on BBC Two at 22.00, followed by Frankie Boyle’s New World Order at 22.30.
