Musical maestro Gareth Maloney returns to the public eye this summer in an admirable effort to break the world record for the largest ever singalong performed live on radio. The event itself will be broadcast in both radio and television formats with the latter being presented by Diversity front-man Ashley Banjo and Radio DJ Sara Cox in a one-off hour long special on ITV. Joining the official NHS choir will be a whole host of unsung - if you'll forgive the pun - heroes from the ranks of nurses, doctors and consultants who keep our nation healthy. Also joining in the event will be a number of celebrity volunteers who will take to the state alongside their NHS counterparts in what promises to be a contagiously feel-good night of music. Amongst the celebrities taking part are WHAM's Tony Hadley, JLS' Aston Merrygold, Rick Astley and Myleene Klass amongst many others. The Big NHS Singalong Live - Wednesday 9:00pm on ITV.
