Leanne Tilsley (Jane Danson) is left fuming with Nick (Ben Price) in Coronation Street tonight (October 23) and it’s safe to say that there is animosity aplenty.
Apologetic about the article in the Gazette, Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac) informs Nick that she’d like to make a donation of £20,000 to Oliver’s appeal.
Meanwhile, Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) returns from Germany with bad news, as he reveals that Dr Schmitz is adamant that Oliver isn’t a suitable candidate for treatment.
Leanne is devastated by such news, but her frustration soon turns to anger when she learns about Natasha’s offer of £20,000, and becomes determined to find out why Nick has kept shtum.
She argues that his refusal of Natasha’s cash is proof that he’s given up on Oliver, and orders him up to accept the money in question — reminding him that they need her money to pay the legal fees.
However, Nick is struggling, and he confides in mum Gail Rodwell (Helen Worth) that he fears Leanne is fighting a battle she cannot win, but he simply cannot tell her such a thing, as she would see it as a betrayal.
Gail, however, is adamant that he must be honest with her.
Will Nick open up to Leanne?
