The action-packed series with more Strawbridge family adventures, awe-inspiring renovation projects and big reveals. Bringing a warm hug into our living rooms, Dick, Angel, Arthur and Dorothy share more enchanting tales from the chateau, as they continue the renovation of their 19th-century fairy-tale home and grounds. With weddings and events on hold for a second year, Dick and Angel are tackling the exterior of the chateau. The roof and outside walls are their biggest project to date, and the chateau quickly becomes a building site! Despite the havoc, the chateau reveals more of its secrets, while Dick and Angel continue to find ingenious ways of bringing new rooms back to life and creating a home full of happy memories. In this episode, it’s summer at the chateau, and time for the annual tradition of family measuring – a chance to see how close Arthur and Dorothy are to catching up with Dick and Angel in height, and if Petale the puppy is fully grown yet or not. With Arthur and Dorothy now eight and seven, they are shooting up fast, and it’s not just their clothes they seem to be growing out of but their bedroom too. Currently, the family share two neighbouring rooms and, although the kids don’t want separate bedrooms yet, they do need more space – and it’s not long before Angel comes up with an ingenious plan to create a mezzanine. In Dick and Angel’s bedroom, there’s a mysterious storage issue, as a hollow-sounding wall reveals an unexpected cavity, which, in Angel’s eyes, has some very precious contents inside. The re-slating of the roof continues, as Dick and Angel knock down walls, build new ones, preserve old wallpaper, create memory furnishings from the kids’ old clothes, and still find time to pick strawberries in the garden.
