Howard Hawks’ classic musical comedy film that flung Marilyn Monroe into stardom overnight, full of iconic images and timeless gags. Jane Russell stars as Dorothy Shaw and Marilyn Monroe is Lorelei Lee, two showgirls after a man to marry.

Lorelai plans to wed a wealthy but naïve nerd, but his stuck-up father has hired a private investigator to prove Lorelai is no good for his son. What follows is a comedic, romantic, and unique journey through escalating antics.

Famous numbers include Marilyn Monroe’s Diamonds are a ‘Girl’s Best Friend’, which became her signature tune, and Jane Russell’s hilariously over the top ‘Aint There Anyone Here for Love’ in which troupes of swimmers clad in gold trunks do a synchronised routine.
