The third film of Stephen Spielberg’s Indiana Jones films, The Last Crusade is perhaps the best. It has unrelenting action, unforgettable set pieces, stunt work that still leaves us baffled – but more than that, it’s a classic adventure story with real heart.

It’s 1938 and Indy competes with the Nazis, as they look for the holy grail of archaeology – the Holy Grail… Can he get to it before the Nazis do, and will he be able to pass the booby traps intended to test those who seek to be worthy?

With a surprise cameo from Michael Sheard (Grange Hill) and many big names, including a young River Phoenix, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is a family treat that doesn’t stop being a blast.
