Puss in Boots was a spin-off from the Shrek franchise but its characters and storyline more than hold their own in this ripping animated adventure that will keep the kids occupied while dropping the odd adult joke for older viewers.
Puss (Antonio Banderas) teams up with a fellow thieving feline Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek) and his old friend Humpty Dumpty to embark on an exciting quest to find magic beans so that they can steal the goose that lays the golden eggs.
But this wouldn’t be an adventure if everything went according to plan. Great fun for all the family.
