Jennifer Lawrence stars in the penultimate instalment of the dystopian fantasy, directed by Francis Lawrence and based on Suzanne Collins’ literary trilogy for young adults.

Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) has survived the 75th edition of the deadly Hunger Games and been rescued by anti-Capitol rebels, along with fellow contestants of the Games, Beetee (Jeffrey Wright) and Finnick (Sam Claflin).

They are taken to the subterranean District 13, where the rebel leader President Alma Coin (Julianne Moore) tries to persuade Katniss to become the Mockingjay – the rebellion’s mascot – but fails, because Katniss is angry about the rebels leaving behind her friend Peeta (Josh Hutcherson).

However, after President Snow (Donald Sutherland) uses Peeta to calm down anti-Capitol sentiment, Katniss resolves to help the rebel cause – as long as they promise to rescue Peeta. Also starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson.
