Day one of the second Test between England and the Windies at Headingley. It is typical of the lot of England cricket fans, that those who turned up at Headingley today expecting the home team to steamroller the Windies have endured a tortuous first session that has seen yet more top order hopefuls fail to impress. First Test double centurion Alistair Cook set the tone for the morning’s play offering up his wicket cheaply – and at time of writing Westley and Stoneman have joined him in the pavillion accumulating 22 runs between them.
Catch the afternoon sessions and hope that the middle order puts in the hard work that Cook and co could not.
England v Windies Cricket – Friday from 10am on Sky Sports Cricket.
