Some people will make it through life without ever visiting A&E, others aren’t so lucky. Tonight’s episode of 24 Hours in A&E focuses on luck and chance.
Following a head-on collision, 29-year-old David has been airlifted to St George’s, while his girlfriend Emily follows in the car but she’s in for a shock when she arrives.
We also meet Darnell who has sustained a series leg injury playing football. His doctors are worried such a series break could lead to further long-term, complications and 94-year-old Mary who has fallen down 14 steps and lost consciousness. Doctors are worried about injuries to her chest, neck and spine due to her age.
