Tonight sees a British television first – a panel show in which all the panellists a women.
In an edition marking the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage, Channel 4 are not marking the occasion with documentaries but with a comedy. Susie Dent and Rachel Riley are still in their normal rolls, but tonight Katherine Ryan hosts, with Roisin Conaty and Jessica Hynes playing against Sara Pascoe and Lolly Adefope. Joining Susie in Dictionary Corner is actress Natalie Cassidy – or rather the impressionist Morgana Robinson as Natalie Cassidy.
It’s been a long time coming for an all-woman panel show to air on our screens. The only question left is this – does it still count as all-women if Fabio appears or not?
