Immunotherapy is a new form of cancer treatment. It can have wonderful results, but it only works for a quarter of all cases.
A Summer to Save My Life follows three cancer patients as they undergo this treatment in a hope it can help save their lives, sharing their experiences of what is like to live with the illness and dealing with preconceptions. Given the odds on successful treatment, this documentary looks like it may well not have the happiest of endings for some involved.
A Summer to Save My Life is on Channel 4 at 22.50.
