The number of newborns being placed into care has reached an all new high, with thousands of women losing their children due to their drug addiction.
Tonight Panorama visits the only residential units – Trevi House in Plymouth – in the country trying to keep children with their mothers and tackle this issue head-on. The documentary follows mothers and their babies undergoing intensive treatment as they try to prove they’re fit to be a parent. The stakes couldn’t be higher – if they fail they will lose their baby forever.
