This new Channel 4 series examines what happens when teenagers are left without their parents to look after them.
For four days, 16-year-old Millie and her 13-year-old sister Laurel are on their own, with only a budget of £70 each, and 27 cameras filming them around the house. Independent experts observe them to see whether too much parenting is harming children’s independence.
Alone at Home is on Channel 4 at 20.00.
