Travelling across the globe, MasterChef judge Monica Galetti and restaurant critic Giles Coren set out to discover what daily life entails for the workforce of some of the world’s most amazing hotels.
Heading to one of the world’s biggest hotels, Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands, the pair dive in, working as pool attendants for the hotels infinity pool that is three times the size of an Olympic swimming pool – think of all the towels to be washed!
Giles smartens up and joins the butlers team whilst Monica heads to the kitchend helping the 600-strong catering team which serve 60 restaurants, ranging from Brazilian, Chinese and French to Japanese, learning the intricate art of dim sum creation.
With long hours and guests expecting perfection, Giles and Monica have no easy ride ahead of them as we are taken behind the lobby walls.
