Liz Bonnin presents this new wildlife documentary displaying animal cunning.

The opening edition looks at the tricks animals perform in mating. For example, we see how prairie-dog pups are kept healthy by promiscuity; hyena clans are helped by sibling rivalry; mongooses use diversions when mating; and peacocks make themselves more attractive by pretending not to have mated.

Animals Behaving Badly is on BBC One at 20.00.
