Gordon Buchanan, probably the most famous wildlife camera in the country, is now working with scientists to get a really close-up look at animals – by fitting the beasts with their own cameras.
Among the animals featured include meerkats in the Kalahari, who show us what it is like in their underground homes; an orphaned chimp in Cameroon as it tries to find a family to adopt it; and penguins in Argentina as they catch their prey.
Animals with Cameras is on BBC One at 20.00.
