The Roadshow returns to Halifax’s Piece Hall to examine some curious and sometimes odd items.
For example, one of the collections up for evaluation is a collection of Soviet propaganda posters that were purchased for a few shillings in the 1970s. There is also a Wedgwood rose bowl that is supposedly cursed, and a diamond necklace that was given to its owner in return for making banana sandwiches. Presenter Fiona Bruce meanwhile tries on a hat previously owned by the Duke of Wellington.
Antiques Roadshow is on BBC One at 20.00.
