Autumnwatch is back again on BBC Two for a week full of live wildlife stories from all corners of the UK. The clocks go back soon and all the foliage goes from green to gold, but nature didn’t get the memo, as we will see life continue its bold ambitions even as the seasons change.

Chris Packham and Michaela Strachan are at Wild Ken Hill in Norfolk to see what’s changed since spring and to revel in the Snettisham Spectacular – an autumn highlight for a birdwatcher’s calendar.

Over in the hills of Northern Ireland, Gillian Burke digs deep to learn how moles store their harvested worms in preparation for the cooler months ahead. Megan McCubbin is live from the Isle of Mull, famous for its otters, eagles and wild red deer…
