Looking for a way to keep the children entertained, as we approach autumn and the changing weather?

1995s Babe is a film for all of the family; children and adults alike. Farmer Arthur Hoggett (James Cromwell) and his wife Esme (Magda Szubanski) bring home orphaned piglet Babe. He grows close to the family dog, whom he calls Mum, and decides to learn how to herd sheep.

James Cromwell gives an excellent performance as farmer Hoggett; a role for which he was Oscar nominated, but lost out to Kevin Spacey for The Usual Suspects. Babe is timeless classic, and perfect for Saturday afternoon viewing.

“That’ll do, Pig. That’ll do.”

Babe is on ITV2 at 15:20.
