In the summer of 2003, dying of prostate cancer, legendary comedian Bob Monkhouse played his last ever stand-up gig, as he would die in December that year.
It was an intimate performance where most of the people in the room were fellow comics. This show has only been seen in clips, most famously in the documentary The Secret Life of Bob Monkhouse, but for the first time ever the whole performance is being aired.
Aside from the performance itself there are also short interviewers with comedians who in the audience at the time, including Jon Culshaw, Dominic Holland and Kevin Day.
Bob Monkhouse: The Last Stand is on BBC Four at 21.00.
