Sir Tony Robinson returns with a second series of rambling adventures across the British countryside, giving us plenty of history along the way.
The opening episode sees Tony walking across Dartmoor. The journey will see him tracing the footsteps of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who wrote The Hound of the Baskervilles while staying in the area – and speaking of legendary beasts, Tony also hopes to try and catch a glimpse of the Beast of Dartmoor.
Britain’s Ancient Tracks with Tony Robinson is on Channel 4 at 20.00.
