British cycling

Much of the credit given to how Britain has become the dominant nation in cycling sporting events is given to Dave Brailsford and Shane Sutton.

However, recent allegations of bullying and a “culture of fear” created by them have seen the duo being given a fair amount of criticism. Can Britain’s success at the Olympics and Tour de France be used as an excuse for such behaviour?

Britain’s Cycling Superheroes: the Price of Success? is on BBC Two at 21.00.
