The celebrity chef attempts to tackle Britain’s obesity crisis in this four-part series.
Hugh begins by dealing with supermarkets and cereals which contain too much sugar in them. He tries to make the companies behind the cereals produce clearer packaging, while also trying to stop WH Smith’s from doing deals giving chocolate away with newspapers. He is also launching a project to get the people of Newcastle to lose 100,000 pounds of weight in a year.
Britain’s Fat Fight with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall is on BBC One at 21.00.
