The delicious marital/domestic train wreck comedy penned by Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney continues as the couple get to put to one side their own dysfunctionality and infidelities for an evening at dinner with estranged couple Chris and Fran.
Tonight is a mixed bag for Sharon; a visit to the fertility clinic reveals she doesn’t have too many eggs left and is approaching that time of life. However, bleakness is lifted from her day when she discovers that Fergal’s much-lauded perfect life in Spain is far from the idyll he’s previously boasted of.
Rob, meanwhile, with the prospect of returning to work (and the scene of the sexual harassment allegation) on the horizon decides today would be a good day for a drink – the show’s title should help you work out how well that goes!
