Preview – Champions League Final

Champions League final

It’s the big one. This is it for the 2017/18 season and, as the world descends upon the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium, in Kiev as Jurgen Klopp’s Mersey-side Reds take on the Zinedine Zidane Los Blancos. With both Liverpool, seemingly a team on the rise, coming up against the competition’s most decorated winners, the match promises to be an absolute cracker for the fans, neutrals and professionals alike.

We’ve seen some beautiful football from both teams this campaign with Liverpool’s free scoring attackers running rampant both domestically and on the continent while Real Madrid’s Galacticos simply ooze the talent and confidence which has become synonymous with the team whenever they take to the pitch. After blowing Pep Guardiola’s centurion Manchester City side and Eusebio Di Francesco’s Barca-beating Roma team, Jurgen Klopp and his players will be confident that they can pull of another special European night to crown what has been an impressive season so far. That’s not to say Real Madrid won’t be feeling exactly the same as they eye an unprecedented three consecutive champions league titles to cement their status as, arguably, the best team in the world.

Champions League Final – Saturday 7:00pm on BT Sport 2.
