The one-day country championship begins this week, with one of the first matches being a derby between the two most northerly sides.
Durham are taking on Yorkshire in this day-night match. Yorkshire made it to the quarter-finals of the championship last year, whereas Durham ended mid-table. Whatever happens, Durham can’t be doing any worse in the one-day series than they are in the test series, currently being second-from bottom in Division Two.
