England have made a decent start this season, having won their ODI against Ireland and T20 game against Pakistan.
Now comes the start of a five-match series of ODI’s against Pakistan in preparation for the World Cup, with the first game being a day/night match at The Oval. The main talking point for the English at the moment is the introduction of new Barbados-born bowler Jofra Archer (his British father qualifies him to play for England), who took 2-29 in the T20 on Sunday.
Archer has yet to be named as part of the World Cup squad, but if he keeps things up he could well make the cut.
England v Pakistan is on Sky Main Event and Sky Cricket at 12.30 (play starts 13.00).
